Aden … The Tax Authority Union honors the Head of the Authority in recognition of his active role in preserving the institution.

The Tax Authority Union and its branches honored today, Thursday, Dr. Jamal Mohammed Sarour, Head of the Tax Authority and official sponsor of the union’s electoral cycle for the Tax Authority and its branches, held in the capital Aden on 14/7/2024.

The General Union President of the Tax Authority, Hamid Bahowirth, and Secretary-General Mohammed Al-Saqqaf presented a shield of gratitude and appreciation to Dr. Jamal Mohammed Sarour, in recognition of his efforts in managing the authority’s procedures and maintaining this vital and significant state institution.

In the first meeting of the newly elected union committee following the success of the electoral cycle and their election during this term, the committee reviewed the demands of union work and the responsibility towards Tax Authority employees and its branches in achieving their administrative and legal rights.

The elected union committee members of the Tax Authority and its branches extended their gratitude and appreciation to Dr. Jamal Mohammed Soroor, the official sponsor of the electoral cycle, and pioneer of this achievement.

The union committee emphasized that this accomplishment adds to the significant achievements in Dr. Jamal’s record, gained through his outstanding work in tax administration, central and local resource development, and academic contributions.

The union committee also expressed its gratitude and appreciation to all Tax Authority employees, its branches, attendees, and sponsors of the electoral cycle’s inauguration, including the Ministry of Social Affairs and Labor and the General Federation of Southern Workers’ Unions.

The ceremony was attended by the Deputy Head of the Tax Authority, Fawzi Al-Amari, the Financial Director of the Authority, Wael Mansour, and the Human Resources Director at the Tax Authority, Akram Al-Jamid.
